SARA RYAN PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a Reno Tahoe and San Diego based photographer specializing in maternity, family + newborn sessions.  I am in love with taking the seemingly ordinary moments or perhaps the biggest occasions in life and creating something more than just a picture - I create art that tells a story and makes you feel something.

Outside of my photography career, I love spending time outdoors and truly try to be intentional with my life as a whole. I live a pretty slow lifestyle and try to balance my days with work and motherhood. Although not the easiest task, I get through each day as a working mom with God’s grace.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two beautiful children together. As a family, we thrive on spending our time outside - weekends are spent in the mountains, cruising the local farmers markets or sometimes it’s just enjoying a cup of coffee in the backyard and gardening for the day.

The last few years of creating a family and experiencing motherhood has truly opened my eyes and made me realize my passion and calling for photographing families and moms in all stages of motherhood. I realize how fleeting time is and the importance of documenting your family in every chapter of life - no matter how mundane a season of life may feel. There is beauty in all chapters of life and I look forward to creating art that makes you feel the same.
